The Neighborhood Watch Program is one of the most effective and least costly ways to prevent crime and reduce fear in our neighborhood. Neighborhood Watch is the cornerstone of the LAPD's crime prevention strategy. It enliststhe active participation of residents, in cooperation with law enforcement, to reduce crime in our area. The Neighborhood Watch Program forges bonds among area residents and businesses, helps reduce burglaries and robberies, and improves relations between police and the communities they serve. In 2007 we worked with CPAB and the LAPD to create NW groups on many of our blocks. If you're not involved with NW on your block and would like to be email us and we'll help you get started.
